A Reviewed Story

A few nights ago, I read an article called "Sacred Stones and Madagascar" (source: http://brian-mountainman.blogspot.ca/2010/11/sacred-stones-and-madagascar.html) which is a type of response to the "Conversation: Sacred Stones" (source: http://archaeology.org/1001/etc/conversation.html). In the article, Luciano talks about Mike Parker Pearson's discovery at "Bluestonehenge" which was a bluestoned ditch. The idea that Mike has of the "domain of the dead" is questioned by Luciano for its authenticity.
I believe that what Luciano is saying is right; people have different traditions and beliefs all around the world so not all thoughts are alike. As it was said, the people in the village believe that after someone passes, their spirit is still alive. By saying that there is a "domain of the dead" would be the complete opposite what the society believes is true. The ideas one person has may not be able to match up with another's. The opinion of a person should be appreciated but that does not mean that it will be taken lightly.
